'Homebrew' DVD Sets in Stores

Has anyone else seen DVD sets like we trade here in pawn or Goodwill stores:

Found my first find at a pawn store. Bought the whole series of Earth : Final conflict. And it wasn't retail.

Just today, found my second find. The new Outer Limits complete set. Look like another 'homebrew' set.

I have seen stuff in our good will stores where people have recorded movies and TV shows on VHS tapes but nothing on DVD as of yet. I still use VHS tapes for certain things and I will grab them at places like this since blank VHS media in stores (around here) are getting hard and harder to find. I have even found people old home family movies on tapes that were not labeled, and somebody probably donated there precious family memories by mistake....I remember losing a lot of my home movies on vhs due to water damage....stuff I eill never get back....sucked!!:(

Yup I found a homebrew set of of Cosby Mysteries - it was at a salvation army...I mean, it looked legit--but I recognized it right away- it was selling 2.99

How many eps were included? Did you pick it up? $2.99 isn't bad.
