Hide everything on your computer screen with one mouse click!

Ever find yourself doing something you're not supposed to be doing on the computer and your boss walks in? Are you concerned about your privacy being compromised when viewing something sensitive on your computer? Wouldn't it be great to be able to instantly hide what you were doing from prying eyes and cover it up with something that looks more like what you were supposed to be doing? Now you can with SmokeScreen.

With just one stroke of your mouse in any direction, one roll of the mouse wheel, or one keystroke, the program can minimize all open windows, show a screen image that you've captured of a program that makes it look like you are working over what you were doing, or both. It can even mute your computer's sound, too. Then when it's safe, simply double-click anywhere on the screen to return to what you were doing and bring your sound back to the volume level it was before. You can even password protect the program so that only you can return the computer to its previous state before the SmokeScreen was activated or change the program's options.

Features at a Glance
  • Runs in your System Tray.
  • System Tray icon can be normal or invisible, so only you know it is running.
  • Instantly hide whatever you're doing, replacing it with a screen image that looks like you are working and even mute your sound volume with a flick of the wrist.
  • Several different ways to instantly activate hiding.
  • Password protect program options or require password to "un-hide" your screen.
  • Control windows (close or minimize) that are open behind SmokeScreen or adjust volume level while still hiding what you were doing.
  • Enable or disable program with just a keystroke.
  • Let's say you're playing a game as shown in the image below. Pass your mouse cursor over the screen in the image to see what will happen when you activate SmokeScreen's screen hiding feature on your computer.
