Father's Day is around the corner..made me think of all the famous tv dads...

Mike Brady, Hank Hill, Andy Taylor come to mind..

Gosh, there are so many great dads on TV--IMHO, especially from the 50's & 60's. Lucas McCain, Ben Cartwright, Rob Petrie, Danny Williams, Henry Mitchell (anyone who could put up with a son like Dennis and not kill the kid HAS TO BE a great dad!), Ward Cleaver, Howard Cunningham...oh, the list goes on... But I think my all time favorite would have to be Steve Douglas from My Three Sons, even though he got a lot of help from good ol' Uncle Charlie! This has always been one of my favorite TV programs...and Fred MacMurray is one of my favorite actors.
