how's the weather?

Dallas has a high of 30-F tomorrow, and a high of 15-F on Thursday.
BBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR !!!!!

At least I don't have to go out if I don't want to.

EDIT -- It sleeted and iced here tonight, temps dropped even lower, 0s-20s for the next couple days. My street and sidewalk have a nice thick glaze of ice on them. Schools, government buildings, etc ... everything closes up at the first sign of a snowflake or any kind of ice. So tomorrow is basically everybody-stay-at-home day.

Wednesday night: Overcast with rain showers at times. Low near 45F. Winds light and variable. Chance of rain 60%. Rainfall around a quarter of an inch. [:x)]

weevil6772 12-07-2005 09:16 AM

Balmy 57F.

onlyemokid 12-07-2005 12:57 PM

I thought it was supposed to be warm in TX?!!?!

gatch72 12-07-2005 01:14 PM

supposed to snow here on thursday

debwalsh 12-07-2005 01:38 PM

Storm bearing down here could drop nothing, or up to 8 inches. I used to clean that off my car at the end of a full work day when I lived in Boston. Nowadays, my office here in Pennsylvania closes with only a couple of inches on the ground. Boggles my mind. But I'm kind of hoping for the heavier snow ... a Friday sleep-in would be nice. :>

Tcel93 12-08-2005 01:46 AM

Cold, snowy and then cold again. I'm somewhat near Deb it seems in Pa. For me, I can work from home if I want, so I may be doing so tomorrow.

debwalsh 12-08-2005 02:00 AM

I'm in Montgomery County, outside Philly.

fortunec00kie 12-08-2005 07:23 AM

If it snows 8 inches here I still have to go to work. Unfortunately.

Double Darn!

I feel for you Deb & Todd.-I used to have to go back to PA four to five times a year from 1995 to 2001. I hated it, if its not muggy, or hazy it's cold , timezone thing was a problem for me too!

Turtle_Titan 12-16-2005 06:53 AM

It's been raining a lot lately, really nice right now though [8D][:x)][}:)]

fortunec00kie 12-16-2005 07:31 AM

24 cm of snow today, man it sucks. I need a snowblower soon.

angelofanimes 12-16-2005 01:41 PM

The weather here, changes...One day it's hot, another day it's freezing, and another day it's just cool. A dot of snow here and there. At least at night the weather stays consistent.

Tcel93 12-16-2005 11:36 PM

Your not far then Deb. I'm in Landisville, Pa. About 75 - 90 minutes from Philly. I'm actually in Lancaster County, or as they say... Amish country. :D

MagnificentMarcus 12-17-2005 01:25 AM

I used to have to fly in to Baltimore, MD, and then rent a car and drive to York, PA.

Padre2 12-17-2005 02:38 AM

I'm over in Chester County, PA (Downingtown). Sounds like we have a bunch of the state covered! :)

The weather has been doing the same thing here in Louisiana....but I think its gonna stay cool for a while...it was in the 30s last night.

Skuff 12-17-2005 02:57 AM

well, without the snow anyways lol....sleet but no snow.

jenstewart 12-17-2005 06:14 AM

8 degrees this afternoon, here in North Dakota. We have already had several storms, so we have a good foot of snow left, which won't be melting for several months yet. Nice, clean, white, and blinding.

Skuff 12-17-2005 06:43 AM

Ya know the last time it snowed that much down here, I was only 1 yr old!

Every few other winters, we do see snow, when I say see, I mean of course we see it for a few minutes but it melts before it hits the ground.

angelofanimes 12-17-2005 07:32 AM

Aren't we all in Louisiana, lol. Yeah I'm in Louisiana also, and I don't think we'll get snow this year.

Skuff 12-17-2005 05:01 PM

Yeah me either....it would be nice to see some here before I die lol.....well I don't plan on doing that soon but ya know what I mean. lol

jenstewart 12-18-2005 12:53 AM

People that don't get snow regularly always wish that they had snow. Those of us up here are dreaming of a green Christmas. :)

My husband is a pastor, so he refers to us as the "Frozen Chosen". :D

As the hubby always says, the cold keeps the riff raff out, so we can't complain too much.

wayshway 12-21-2005 09:23 AM

It don't snow where I live. The last time it snowed was in 1976. I was in the first grade. [88]
