Trivial Suggestion - Website Icon
Hey, obviously this should not be top of the priority list, but it would be nice to have a website icon, so I can get rid of that ugly blank page next to the bookmark :)
|
I think the old CPSes actually had them, if I'm not mistaking.. white with RED CPS or something in the middle?
By the way, can we edit posts here? Edit: Nevermind, found it! |
A favicon. I can maybe do one of those. Sometimes they don't work correctly. I need to look into it again. I actually did one of these for another site.
|
By the way, very nice site design. Not sure if it's all you LS, or a combination with allaboutduncan and markatisu, but great job- very clean and functional.
|
Thanks!
Allaboutduncan does most of the dirty work, tweaking code, databases, etc. I try to organize it and make it pretty, tweaking code only on occasion. Markatisu is the ranch hand, helps manage the cattle... err, I mean CPS members. :) |
mooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!
|
Have any ideas for what the icon should look like?
I'm partial to Smurfs (obviously), but am open to suggestions. |
The Flag of France :o
|
LOL!
|
The Bat Signal [;^)][:D[:p]

You all should be seeing a new website icon (designed by LS).
LS - I got it working. The header file had another section of code that needed the <link> info coded into it. |
Oh good! I'd already given up http://www.tvpast.org/forum/images/cache/2006/03/43.gif
Here's the pic you should see http://www.tvpast.org/forum/error.gif It's a tv with rabbit ears and the word CPS inside. I think it's obvious, but you never know. Simple image. For IE users, you may have to delete your bookmark, close IE and then restart it, then re-visit CPS and re-bookmark it. IE is a PITA that way. |
I like it, it's simple yet defines us all. (I have no idea what I just said) LOL
|
Hooray!

Exactly how I feel today. I'll admit, the CPS icon has grown on me and I quite like it up there. |
