I submitted a few avatars this morning and they didn't show up. I was wondering if it's broken.

You should see them now. Unless they are uploaded by an admin/mod, all the avatars have to be approved.

You should delete most of the avatars on page 2 because they are no longer there and haven't been there for a very long time. :)
