TVPreservation.com gets Amazon referral credit!

UPDATE: Use these links:

Amazon.com (USA)
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/re...reservation-20

Amazon.ca (Canada)
http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/red...servationca-20

Amazon.co.uk (UK)
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/redirect....reservation-21

I've signed up my video-related business sites under the Amazon.com Referral program, and by default can also incorporate CPS. Anytime you want to buy something off Amazon, it's possible to let CPS raise up to 3-5% kickback on your purchase. Sort of an added fundraiser idea I went with.

Problem is, I still don't know how to use it all that well. At the moment, I can mostly added items to the TVPres "AStore", which you can them buy and I get the credit.

If anybody has experience with this, let me know. The instructions suck. I'm not dumb, but this thing is confusing as heck.

I signed up for both AMAZON.COM and AMAZON.CO.UK.
I was approved last week for both.

Consider contacting me with PM before making a buy, and maybe we can help this site raise some funds this way too!

you should do AMAZON.CA too, thats were I buy.

I think the .COM includes .CA, but I'll check it out and see.

You can create text links by replacing the X's below with the AISN of the product you want (and replace allaboutdunca-20) with your referral id. I've got a TEXTER short cut built. I can copy the AISN and type amzt+SPACE and it creates the link below and pastes the AISN in the right place.

<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/XXXXXXXXXX?ie=UTF8&tag=allaboutdunca-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeAS IN=XXXXXXXXXX" target="_blank"></a>

EXAMPLE: That link should be for the Canon HV30 camera, using the TVPres affiliate "tvpreservation-20"

"tvpreservation-20" = Amazon.com (USA)
"tvpreservationca-20" = Amazon.ca (USA)
"tvpreservation-21" = Amazon.co.uk (UK)

I want to know how KenRockwell has his "open" link to Amazon.
See http://kenrockwell.com/donate.htm
What's the code for that?

allaboutduncan 10-23-2008 11:51 PM

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/re...home/thdifa-20

That should do it.

A fundraising link has been added to the top of the CPS forum. This link uses our referral ID, and any purchases made with it will give CPS a % of the $$$ you spend. Everybody wins! Amazon almost always has the best prices on DVDs these days, you get a great deal, Amazon gets business, CPS gets a kickback cut!

I will add Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.ca soon.

lordsmurf 10-31-2008 02:27 AM

Links have now been added for .com, .ca and .co.uk sites!

Amazon.com (USA) - http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/re...reservation-20
Amazon.ca (Canada) - http://www.amazon.ca/exec/obidos/red...servationca-20
Amazon.co.uk (UK) - http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...reservation-21

By using these links, you help CPS!
