American Automakers screwing us again!

While there are those stepping up to lead the way, there are still some who prefer not to make any significant change, even when they can. Sadly, this is happening in America today. For example, Ford Europe just completed its 2009 Auto show featuring the Ford Fiesta Econetic, a 4-5 passenger, turbo diesel family car that delivers 65-75 MPG with ultra low Co2 emissions. It is only $24,000 and is available today-BUT ONLY in EUROPE! Great for Europe, but when asked about selling it in the USA, Ford America said they will not sell it here, citing it as a bad business decision, too expensive, and not wanting to offend Americans who do not like diesel as a fuel!
