When was the last DeepDiscount DVD super sale?
 

Remember when they were a DVD-only site and had semi-annual sales at 25-40% off and free shipping? Can anybody share when the new store last had a %-off sale and what percentage it was?

Maybe someone can also share details on the last few sales as well as if they still have free shipping in the US?

I would not want to buy something elsewhere if their recent pattern suggests that another sale is around the corner... thanks.

It went from like 2-3 per year to maybe one per year, to now there being zero that I'm aware of. I used to get emails, or see sales talked about on others sites -- but nothing lately.

I've just been in the habit of buying from Amazon. The last sale DeepDiscount had, even with the % OFF coupon, prices were still higher than Amazon at the time, because Amazon dropped prices to match the DD sale.

I did buy a LOT from DD back in the day, though.

I knew it was a good thing to ask, because I have infrequently checked a couple prices on their site and they have OUTRAGEOUS pricing now--in some cases, TWO TIMES the price on Amazon! And NOT the marketplace!

And, usually, they had better prices even without the special sales. Oh, well. I guess it's time to find a new sweet site--that is not tied to a fatty con. :D
