hi, just thought you might want to know ahead of time. the lists from walmart & other retailers for the friday after thanksgiving sales are posted at gottadeal.com there is an article on cnn.com about it. looks like i'll be one of the early risers that morning. thanks

If this is something that everyone is interested in, we should archive them here. They will be pulled from the web very soon, I would bet on it.

At Fatwallet.com thier hotdeal forum usually have people who get scoops on what is going on sale (most of the time employees)..

The last time I did Black Friday was in 1997 or so. I woke up at 3a.m., went to wait in line at 5a.m., got back home at 9a.m.

I'm never doing that again.

It may work for you, if you're living in a smaller area. But being in a major city, there's just no way.
