what is the difference between hellsing the original dvds and the newer ultimate editions?

completely new stories?
or the old ones, re-done in some way?

No idea. Get hard to keep up with variations in some of the movie releases. (It's BS too. Why not just make one release and make it good?!)

It's a remake of the original that's going to lead to a new 13 DVD series. It's more like the manga but better and has a few new elements added to it.

It's way more violent and way better than the original. I saw these a few years ago at anime expo.

I got rid of the old ones.
