I was looking into getting an Epson Artisan 50 printer and I came across this, it's called a CISS (Continuous Ink Supply System), it replaces the ink cartridges that come with your printer, no need to buy expensive ink cartridges ever again, just refill the individual ink reservoirs.

The printer itself runs around $100.00

The CISS System runs around $80 and dye ink runs $29, pigmented ink runs $49 for all the colors and is the equivalent to 60 ink cartridges.

Here are some You Tube links for those of you who might be interested, this printer also prints on printable dvd/cd media. I can just imagine how long the reservoirs would last.

Just curious about your thoughts on this.

Laser toner still tends to last long than ink, CIS or not.
