Betty White isn't the only one thankful for the millions of people wasting time on Facebook.
The 88-year-old actress killed it on last night's much-buzzed-about Saturday Night Live, which hit a year-and-a-half high in the ratings. From "Weekend Update" and "MacGruber" to discussing her "giant Dusty muffin" on a public radio cooking show, White, with her usual charming sassiness, appeared in almost every sketch without ever missing a beat and reminding us all why she's still loved after six decades in showbiz.

watching Betty White on Saturday Night Live was both hilarious and touching. The latest accomplishment in a long and impressive career. She is a living legend.

Interestingly, it was not the first time Betty ever uttered the words "live from New York...it's Saturday Night". She said it in a Golden Girls episode in 1992.
