Reality television has reached a new low. Six feet underground, to be exact.

TLC will air a one-hour special called Best Funeral Ever later this month, highlighting the unique services offered at the Golden Gate Funeral Home in Dallas, Texas. The facility provides "home-goings" for families mourning their loved ones.

"A home-going is much different than a funeral, it's a celebration," owner John Beckwith, Jr. explained in a statement. "The Golden Gate experience is our version of the traditional African American home-going celebration. We do not produce generic funerals; everybody's experience has to be different."

The TLC special, which will air on December 26, features three home-goings: a Christmas-inspired funeral, a State Fair-themed celebration, and a barbecue.
