what do you guys use to d/l a vid from youtube?


my software of choice is no longer working ... needed an alternate method

you could try www.savevid.com as well.
or try a video capture software like "replay video capture" or similar.

This one edit the browser, and put on download button on Youtbe itself.

I use VDownloader for all my YouTube downloads. It's reasonably fast and you can download in HD by adding &hd=1 to the end of the YouTube link in the program. Also, whenever YouTube changes something that causes an interruption in downloading videos, the people that work on VDownloader change the program so that you can still download videos. This has happened more than once.
