I gave a lot of my originals and VHS tapes to LS about 4-5 years ago to work on a set. Not sure what the status is on this one. Hopefully soon....

If it helps at all, I have Teletoon Retro copies of seasons 1-5 and the syndicated episodes from season 6 (episodes 1-12 I believe) from the 80's cartoon.

Also, is anyone still working on The Alvin Show? I remember lordsmurf was a while back (he announced he was working on it back in November 2013), and I'm not sure if it was scrapped, or if it's not a priority at the moment, or maybe it's just taking a while. I have a bunch of sources for it, but lordsmurf has all 26 episodes from sources that I don't have. I'd love to see that become something eventually.

I am still working on both.

The Alvin Show is very far along. Just getting quality source tends to be tricky, but I was able to track some down.

Alvin & The Chipmunks is missing a few episodes. And then retail copies were being added in to replace some of the cut syndication episodes. That was the only real roadblock to finishing that. You and I should get together. Let me pull out my project drive, and see which are needed.

Would be a great collaboration having both Alvin shows together.

I PM'ed lordsmurf saying what I had; I'm willing to give anything I have for these shows; hopefully, full sets will become a reality. I would assume that The Alvin Show would be the easier of the 2, considering I have multiple sources for MANY segments and episodes, and since it only had 26 episodes (the 80's show had over 100 episodes).

I have a friend who has a retail VHS with "The Chipmunks Story" (S01E04 of the 80's cartoon) on it. I'm gonna ask him to capture it, and see what he says.

Did you cap them yourself, or did you download them from somewhere? I've been looking for raw MPEGs from Teletoon Retro for like 3 years now

So apparently some 16mm films of The Alvin Show are on Ebay, and at a great price...

Welp, someone is buying almost all of those 16mm Alvin Show episodes, so forget that.. (unless it was someone here, which I doubt).
