First I gotta say that I normally do not use profanity often (unless I'm pi$$ed) but what that reviewer said so eloquently, I do in fact, totally AGREE with wholeheartedly! Now that we've all vented, let's try to move on to this newest season of Archer. This season (overshadowed by commercials) is kinda getting off to a sour start because of the disgruntled fans. But the show is still one of my favorites, and it keeps hopping unpredictably around. Archer and crew have been a secret intelligence agency, a drug cartel, and now they're a detective agency. Archer --in my humble opinion-- is right up there at the top of of the list of best comedy series ever! This adult comedy is just crazy funny! If you have not watched this show, you are SO missing out on one of the most consistently hilarious shows EVER. Since the last season, I have been checking constantly for this next season to begin. It's the only series I buy, immediately, EVERY TIME IT COMES OUT... Now for the unexpected bummer: I too feel like if I buy a season, I shouldn't have to watch a bunch of lame commercials. I had my cable turned off because we stream everything now. I pay a membership, I have a couple of add-on subscriptions, and yet STILL, I am bombarded by advertisements that have stolen so much time from my life that I will never get back. If I had every minute back I wasted watching the repetitious, mind numbing JUNK that I've watched in my 40-ish something years, I would still be 30-ish! I thought (or desperately hoped) that I would not lose MORE of my life to that kind of crap! Bad form FX. Really Really bad form. It's a good thing you have a COUPLE of great series held hostage, or I would be willing to bet that you would lose about HALF of your subscribers. And the reviewer that said to "eat a d- -k Fox"? To that reviewer I say, you rock! I wonder if I can get away with it? Because it definitely needed to be said!

If we don't get a growing crop of viewers due to lousy reviews, we don't get more Archer. It's an economics decision and season 8 has not yet been claimed. You are cutting off our collective nose to spite our collective face. Yes, FX is clearly full of sh*theads. They're in TV after all - as a chosen career. How is this surprising??? So stop making it harder for new ppl to find this series. We need more fresh blood to keep Archer alive!

Fan boys and girls are never enough to keep a series going. We need normal ppl to like this too.

I had forgotten Archer started in April! Just watched the first three episodes and couldnt wait to watch them again w my sister, and then again the next day! Hilarious, can't believe some of the reviews were bad. This is one of my favorite shows and continues to keep the laughs coming. There are a couple ads at the beginning you can easily fast forward through and at the end. Being able to watch my favorite shows anytime I want as many times as I want I just don't see a couple ads ruining my experience. Archer and the gang are wonderful so far and I can't wait to see where this season takes us! 10 stars! Thanks to all who make this show no. 1 for me.

I am loving this new season. A lot less cussing (which was so overboard in the first seasons) and truly hilarious references + randomness. "Spanish Fly works by arrousing the opposite sex into wanting to get it on. All we need now is mole's blood." or whatever the exact quote is. Hilarious!! Especially when they get makeovers and look like 70s video stars.

The setting is refreshing and seems much more 'open'. Also nice to see everyone get updates to their hair & outfits.

So far this is my favorite season. They put a lot of effort into the show and I'm so thankful to have this to look forward to after a long, exhausting day. Take my relaxation supplements and watch Archer. My kinda night!

Not sure which season I love most but I really like this show. Archer has a sarcastic pain in the butt humor that really is fun to watch. I wouldn't recommend this for kids or even teens but it is a great adult show. My only wish is that it would be available on prime like it is on netflix. That and to have longer or more episodes would be great. The show is great though for a quick laugh and I wait each week for a new episode to come out.

One of the great cartoon series from America, a series that is not afraid of showing up American society - and not always in a good light. Hilarious, it takes pot shots at all sorts of targets and, is extremely good. Was shown on British TV but after series III I believe the television company became scared of what the series was actually showing. Very difficult to get region 2 copies, although I have managed to acquire 1 - 5 and 7. It is hilarious, of course, but there are reasons for the hilarity and the sexual innuendoes, outrageous as they are, are part of the fun. This is not a series for your Politically Correct and the fainthearted, but if you want a good laugh at life and can face the `devil' with a grin on your face because you have a cunning plan, then this is the series for you.
