We just got digital cable and was channel surfing this weekend. To my surprise they were playing metal videos! The show is called Metal Mania and it is videos only with no host. This is the best thing I've seen on TV since Headbangers Ball. Here's a list of what I've seen so far:

GNR - Sweet Child O' Mine
Pantera - Planet Caravan & Cowboys From Hell
Scorpions - Rock You Like A Hurricane
David Lee Roth - Yankee Rose
Skid Row - Wasted Time
Lita Ford - Hungry
Ozzy - Lightning Strikes
Kiss - Heaven's On Fire
Winger - Easy Come Easy Go
Def Leppard - Love Bites
Iron Maiden - Clairvoyant
Whitesnake - Fool For You Loving
Cinderella - Coming Home
Judas Priest - Breaking The Law (live)
Type O Negative - Black No. 1
Motorhead
Vinnie Vincent Invasion

Vh1 classic run some good videos. I have to warn you. They also run loads of crap too..

Do not. I mean do not. Waste your time their new HeadBangers Ball. It's all alternative & new stuff. When I see headbangers Ball. I want 80's Hairbands. If I want to see alternative etc.

I can tune in to MTV .

Aside from G4 and watching Scrubs all the time from NBC,Comedy Central and syndication, VH1C is a guilty pleasure of mine. I like the pop videos myself.

I have something from 1999 off VH1 called "The Year of the Rock" and is mostly newer metal bands. I tried to find VH1C on my digital cable yesterday, and I cannot seem to find it. But I have everything other MTV and VH1.

Yea, I don't really care for the new stuff. Can't beat the "classics." I'll probably start recording, hopefully I can get some videos that I've been looking for.
