Looking for a cheap capture card to work with a PC. Input needed s-video and RCA.

Currently my source media is Hi8 MP Videocassette that I play off of a cannon brand camera. Have 20+ hours of material to convert. Be nice for nostalgia and maybe something for America's Funniest Home Movies. My old Mac still can capture and render at a snails pace. Swear it takes a day to just do 30 minutes. Be nice to finish this within a month.

I've got a Hauppauge card (not sure if it's a 150/250/350), but if you're interested, I'll take it out and take a look for the model #. It's all yours, just pay for the shipping. It works fine, but since I've upgraded the system to use the new Hauppauge HD PVR, I don't need it.

Have you got any more? I'd love to grab a Hauppauge 250/350 card, to make teaching guides for it. I get a lot of questions about this card, and I don't often have all the answers.

Thank you Padre. Sent an e-mail with my address. Lordsmurf I can mail you the card once I finish capturing everything. Shouldn't take too long.

naga, sent you a reply (PM). It's a PVR150 card, and works good. I also send you the link to download the install/setup CD from Hauppauge's site.

Thank you Padre. Received the card this weekend and already captured 10 hours worth of home movies. It works so much easier, faster and better than my previous setup. Right now I got the video into raw MPG files. I'll look into way to create DVD with menus next. Not sure if I got a program for that on the PC.
