Does anyone remember either of these two shows?
In 1955-56, Johnny Weismuller did a series called 'Jungle Jim'.
And beginning in 1948, a program started to air about Santa Claus. As I recall, it aired out of Buffalo, about a week or two before Christmas, up until Christmas, every year. I think it only aired about 15 minutes each and it had an Elf named Forgetful.

The TV show is complete on 3 dvds and the 16 movies on 4 dvds. The show you mentioned must have been local to the Buffalo area as it never played in N.Y.C.
