Looking for Decent Versions of Salvage 1 (1979)

Hi! First time post.. I'm looking for decent quality versions of "Salvage 1". It's available on YouTube but the quality is atrocious.

thanks for the pm, I don't have this show but you should say you have things to trade or list available per request.

This is the discussion part of the forum, not trading. And nobody should trade with not-Verified members.

This looks like an interesting show: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Salvage_1. Never heard of it.

Unfortunately, for something this old (70s), assuming there's never been re-runs (and it doesn't look to have any), you're at the mercy of 70s Betamax/VHS users (not many in those days), film stock copies, or nth generation VHS/etc from it. Sadly, DVD releases are often your only hope here.

Been there, done that ... many, many, many times.

I believe Sony released 2 MOD discs of SALVAGE-1 back in 2014 -- "The Golden Orbit" and "Hard Water." So at the very least, good quality copies of the four episodes they comprise are out there and available.

fandor, Thank you for the DVD info. I've ordered them!

Glad I could help.
