Does anyone know about MTV 2 show called Final Fu?
 

I saw a trailer for this show on MTV 2 called the Final Fu with the host being Ernie Reyes Jr. It basically about martial artists putting their fighting style to the test against other styles. It really looked good-full contact and every thing!

Does anyone know when it will start?

I haven't checked out the website yet but the description of the show from the august issue of Black Belt Magazine has it kind of sounding like the other show Fight Scool. Also is anyone going to record this, it doesn't look like it will be on MTV Canada :( only MTV2.....

Hmm, the first ep left me somewhat unimpressed. I've seen pillow fights more interesting. I hope it gets a little better over the week.

were you able to record this episode? also your comment leads me to think more that it is similar to that Fight School show, did youever see that series, if so how do they compare?

Actually, I did record the show, but July 22 they are showing the first five eps all together. No I never did see Fight School was it any good?

Too Funny. I have not seen this show but Fight School was ok. Not great and good for a laugh here and there. I too did Tae Kwon Do for 13 years and got my 3rd dan black belt. As for street use I have never had any real problems but I trained to be a police officer in college and did full contact fighting there. Now I have been doing Wing Chun Kung Fu for the last 2.5 years. Big difference over TKD. Wing Chun kicks ***. I never recorded fight school but if I see it on again I will record it for sure. Let me know once you have a few discs of this show I would really like to check it out, dang MTV Canada for not shwoing it.

I think they are showing something like 13 eps in a two or three week period.

Yes, I did. Well actually I will get the last episode tonight. It will be 20 eps on 4 discs. The episodes were only 30 minutes. I still haven't decided on it. There was some interesting moments.
