Star Trek: The Original Series Remastered Season 2
 

Format War Central is reporting that a Technicolor insider has informed them that work has stopped on CBS and Paramount's Star Trek: The Original Series Remastered - Season Two HD-DVD release. They're saying that Toshiba was financing the production as part of an exclusive arrangement to have the title on HD-DVD only, and they've now pulled the plug.

Oh well. They were way too expensive anyway.

so is toshiba going to do blu-ray?

I don't really care. I'm not gonna invest in Blu-ray either. Just give me good ole' dvds. This is just a stop gap til something better comes along.

lol something better? what tv virtual reality? you put glasses on and your part of the movie or tv show?

i personally dont like startrek myself so price doesnt matter to me. But it sure is a rip off on every format its been on.

i have all of star trek on dvd don't think i would have purchased them on HD-DVD
