hopefully its complete. I would wait for a fan review first since they always seem to mess things up somehow.

some guy that was working on this blu ray release said that all the shorts are restored from the originals. And that they are already working on the second release. I'm debating whether to get this also...it seems that all (or most) of the good cartoon sets never make it to full completion on retail releases lately. Looney Tunes would be such a massive set and i'd actually be happy with blu ray releases designated by the major characters. Let's see what happens.

LT/MM - they could try releasing an "era" of cartoons.
doesn't have to be right from the very first cartoon. they could start somewhere in the middle - like a "best era" or something. then, depending on sales, they could release the another "era" and so on. as long as each set is chronologically correct. and each cartoon is uncut and uncensored. of course this could mean that some of the really early stuff, and others like private snafu, may never be released on blu-ray. this seems the right way to go about releasing LT/MM and warner's best chance to make some good profits. i suppose if the T&J blu-ray really takes off, then this might give the green light to warner to do a LT/MM. let's hope so. |
