"Tony Oliver will be playing Rick Hunter" ... that is excellent news.

Watch the trailer ;) its good to see the old Mospeada outfits again, this show is going to rock

Tony Oliver was actually out in full force this past weekend with the entire original Robotech cast at Robocon and ALL are very excited to be bringing Robotech back, a sequel done the RIGHT way for once

The trailer doesn't tell me much. Didn't do a good job as a trailer, was more like "here's a bunch of random footage we have set to music, enjoy!"

markatisu 07-06-2005 09:41 PM

I think thats all that it was intended to be, each con they show a bit more and more I am guessing leading up to a full blown real trailer

As you can see it was camcordered, it matches the way they have slowly been revealing footage though, previously it was just animatics and sketches

Are you never happy man ;)

The release schedule for the prequel comic has been set:

ISSUE #1 - OCTOBER 5, 2005
ISSUE #2 - OCTOBER 19, 2005
ISSUE #3 - NOVEMBER 16, 2005
ISSUE #4 - DECEMBER 14, 2005
ISSUE #5 - JANUARY 19, 2006

This will coincide with the release of the OVA sometime between Oct-November, making the comic once a month in Nov is done on purpose as to avoid the spoilers and detailed info the comic reveals from ruining the release of the OVA. The idea is you pick up the 2 comics and get hooked, buy the OVA and then any questions will be answered in the last 2 comics and of course lead that into the series

Is this shceduled for this year or next year?

Never mind had a brain freeze didnt notice "coincide"

lordsmurf 08-28-2005 08:50 AM

I'm already hooked, they don't need to lure me with anything.
Just sell it and I'll try to buy it. :)
