Peter Cullen officially announced as Optimus Prime
 

Regardless of the storyline or how the movie turns out I must now see this to see Peter Cullen reprise his 20 year old role as Optimus Prime

In an announcement during a San Diego Comic-Con panel, the voice for Autobot leader Optimus Prime in the upcoming live action Transformers film has been confirmed to be Peter Cullen.

Cullen played Prime in the original "Generation 1" Transformers cartoon and currently provides his voice for various Toonami ads on Cartoon Network.

this will definately bring back some great memories, just due to the fact that Peter is going to be doing the voice of my favorite cartoon character once again. One can only hope they get the guy that does Megatrons voice to reprise his role. Its ashamed that the guy that did Starscreams voice died, that would have put the icing on the cake.
