bad quality tv shows?

I was watching ABC Family just now, and the quality of the Spiderman 90s toon is terrible. it's blurry, it jitters, and it has interlace artifacts. How crappy!

The ABC logo, and the commercials, are both fine. It's just the toon. It almost looks like they're using a VCD for the playback. Now I'm REALLY glad I have the set I have.

Toon Disney does not have the same problems. Might also be the feed, I stopped using ABC Family when the audio kept going lower and higher, now I stick to Toon Disney since its constant and A+ quality due to it being on the digital end

The comparison between a TD Spiderman ep and the 11 DVD set is not comparitive, the grain alone as well as the title card to me invalidates the edits arguement by using TD

Of course we are talking about ABC Family in which I agree ;)

Although GR1 ABC Family records are about 2x better than mine which tells me that its the cable company that is botching the transmission, SOAP Net is the same way, beats me why it happens but CN is also the same way, I have seen horrid CN feeds from people who are using good equipment

I wonder if ABC Family is using the same source as Toon Disney, it just seems odd because I watch Toon Disney daily and never see problems but ABC Family I do see bad audio, bad picture, etc

ABC Family for the most part on my satelite is fine, much better then many other channels that I have such as ABC. I do not get toon disney, so I cant really compare it to that, but I have no problems with auido going lower or anything like that.

My ABC family looks prety bad as well. Spiderman looks all pixilated and compressed way too much. Toon Disney does looks alot better though.
