Anime Network Launches in Five Texas Cities
 

Anime Network will be available to digital cable customers in five Texas cities, thanks to a new distribution deal between Anime Network and Grande Communications, the network said yesterday.

The agreement will bring the network to digital cable customers in Austin (channel 171), Corpus Christi (174), Dallas (170), San Antonio (171) and Waco (174).

Ah, good old Grande Comm. I had that in Austin, they were a bleeding-edge sort of operation. I had 3mb broadband connection before most people could even get 1.5mb connections. And then they whipped Roadrunner in channel line-up.

Don't expect others to follow Grande's lead.
