Chop Socky Chooks" Coming to Cartoon Network
 

Chop Socky Chooks, a series about a trio of kung fu chickens fighting an evil mall owner bent on world domination, will join Cartoon Network's lineup on Friday, March 7, at 9:00pm (ET/PT), the network announced today.

Main characters Chuckie Chan, KO Joe and Chick P disguise themselves as law-abiding dwellers of the Wasabi World mall, but as their alter egos oppose the mall's owner, Doctor Wasabi, who is trying to expand it and conquer the world. Wasabi is aided in his quest by his bodyguard Bubba and a gang of Ninja Chimps.

The show, which combines 2D design and CG animation, was created by Sergio Delfino and produced by Aardman Animations.

The series has also been picked up by the network for German TV.
