the Herculoids episode guide question

I need help. On fan made dvds I have, and on some online sites they list the ep's "the mutoids" as episode 1, followed by the gladiators of kyanite as episode 2, etc

however
on boomerang and on the big cartoon database website, the 1st episode is beaked people and the 2nd episode has the raider apes

the boomerang network has been airing them (2 eps per show) in the order as listed on the cartoon database

which one is correct?

I'd probably go with Pazsaz on this one.
http://www.pazsaz.com/herculod.html

I plan on making a set of this. I might need a couple episodes. :)

Is Boomerang airing the 80's episodes?
Most of my 80's episodes are on VHS which I taped off of Cartoon Network when they would air Boomerang on the Weekends.

Hows Thundarr coming along?

Tranzor 06-15-2009 12:41 AM

The ep listing at pazsaz is the same way they are airing (the two ep combo) on Boomerang.

Boomerang has some odd dvr issues. Like the Thundarr problem I had months ago, they record for a while and then just stop recording. This is the only channel where this error occurs. The fact that it happened again on this channel points to something screwy with boomerang. I have not checked them all, but so far I do not see any of the 80's eps

I do have on beta somewhere on episode of space ghost where they visit the herculoids

At any rate like yourself, I was planning on making a nice quality set. I have two fan made dvds now. One has 2 dvds and the other I think soneone on here made has 3 dvds.

I have to breakdown each episode for runtime, but I am looking at no more than 90mins per disc (jvc drm100s for recording)

my set though is just going to stick with a homedeck so I have them.

Thundarr is still sitting here in limbo. I should have just stuck with recording them to a homedeck and keeping it that way. If someone wanted to do the full nine on this, I would have sent them the dvds. Thundarr was also going to be only 4 eps per disc for the quality jump

Mhadley sent me some eps taken directly from old vhs masters, boomerang aired them all except for one episode and the (still unknown creator) decent 4 disc dvd set that someone made has that missing ep. I was also going to use their very nicely done menu structure. This also included a plot synop before each ep. Dvdremakepro would let you swap eps easily, and I was going to alter the menus a bit to show only 4 eps.

Lord smurf also sent me a thundarr bumper from cartoon network I was going to use for something

one day I will get around to this or pass it to someone else

Sounds like you need to replace that DVR with a good DVD recorder.

I've got good sets of Herculoids, including the 80's. I'll check and see how they look.

I also have all of Thundarr from Boomerang, ready to author, just need to dig it out.

Slowly getting ready to finish some old, lingering projects.

Tranzor 06-15-2009 11:26 PM

hey Duncan let me know asap if you can. I need to get these off my dvr. If I do some rough adding my set would be like 4 1/2 dvds (with 9 eps per disc, 20 mins show total with 2 eps per show)) give or take

PS: I also was not clear on Thundarr. I do have them here ready for authoring and editing, but I have not done anything with them. These master discs are just sitting here
