ahh! that's where I come in :) I have found the missing link to solve all our downloading problems on sites like hulu, amazon, wb, etc ... Just hope they don't plug the hole before we download everything :)

Joker 07-31-2010 09:26 PM

No, there's no DRM. It was just impossible to download ... that is until now :)

o nice sounds good

What is the resolution/file format once it is off of hulu? also does it have the Hulu watermark on it when u download from it?

found the program that does it Hulu Downloader :)

That's not what I use but if it works for you, good stuff. :)

The Hulu files are 640x480 flv (make sure to get the higher resolution because they offer 320x240 also) and the video is clear of any watermarks
My Flipper season 3 downloads are immaculate. (25:38 uncut episodes)

I should also point out for those people outside the U.S. who want to bypass Hulu's "out of country" restrictions, you should download and use Hot Spot Shield

Its a free internet security suit that encrypts and protects inbound / outbound Internet traffic (email, instant messaging, VoIP calls, web surfing, etc.) by creating a virtual private network. Thus hiding your actual location to a USA based IP as HotSpot Shield is its self for USA only. So after installing HotSpot Shield, run it and you will see a small icon on the task bar right click it and connect a window in IE or Firefox will open and will show the status if it gets connected then refresh Hulu and enjoy the kool episodes.

USA owners could use it also to hide their actual location when downloading stuff.

ya i just noticed that once they are converted to mpeg2 or dvd they look pretty damn good when u use the highest quality hulu file. i was expecting crap quality im impressed with the quality

Hulu operates from the studio archives or broadcast masters, and compresses to H.264 at a pretty decent bitrate. It's not as good as a recording of a broadcast, but it is most definitely decent quality for many shows.

Thanks for the Hulu Downloader suggestion.

Alright, that Hulu Downloader sucks. It's unstable and crashes. Don't use it.
This is legitimate freeware, and works great: http://www.streamtransport.com/

I'm saving the first 5 eps of Macross right now. :)

Now I can put them to DVD and watch on the big screen.

I moved the Amazon/Netflix posts to another thread so I could re-open this one.

Keep this one on-topic about Hulu. Thanks! :)
