I need help with a disc please - How to fix scratches?
 

As a lot of people know I suffered a stroke over Christmas and all my dvr's were put =in our storage unit-needless to say they became scratched. I have one that will not read on anything. Doesanyone know what I can use to try and fix this disc. My computer will not read it or the players. I would be very greatfuk 4 any help.

Take it to a local video rental store and they would be able to clean and buff it for a fee. I take mine to Family Video. They have good machines.

Thank you-we only have one left in our neighborhood-she said they do not offer that service. I ordered a machine from Walmart that is supposed to repair anything so far no luck-I'm going to keep trying

Did you try the toothpaste trick? Skip doctors will rub off a layer of the dye lol
I had one it did more damage than good on normal dvds.

buffing is okay for surface scratches. Deep scratches will be hard to remove....
