Audio Loss on transfer from DVDR to Computer

Hi guys...need your help.

I'm recording shows to the hard drive of my DVD recoder (JVC DR-MH30S) and dubbing them to DVD. I'm then using DVD Decrypter to rip the VOBs to my computer's hard drive and editing out commercials using MPEG Video Wizard. OK, now for the problem.

With all shows long enough to require multiple VOBs (VTS_01_1.VOB, VTS_01_2.VOB, etc), I lose audio at the very end of each VOB, except the last of course. This puts an audio gap in the middle of my shows.

How do I avoid that? What am I doing wrong?

Tks...Tom

Are you ripping them in file mode or IFO mode? You should be ripping them in IFO mode for the purpose of editing them. Also, turn file splitting off in the options tab.

Great...tks...I'll try it that way.

Cheers...Tom
