Color TV problem
 

I've got this very odd problem with my color TV and was hoping someone here might have a clue as to what was going on with it.

All of a sudden, the TV has a very hard time showing the color red properly. I have to monkey around with the color and tint to get it to show red at all, and even then it's a dull red instead of a bright red like it should be. Naturally, this makes all the other colors out of kilter.

Any idea what's going on? It's a Sanyo TV with a flat screen (but it's not a lcd flat screen, it's a flat screen with one of those big ol' TV picture tubes).

Any help would be most appreciated ...

I'd ahve to agree-

I have an older 60 inch with the green/red/blue- and about 3 years ago- i lost green-

it isn't cheap to fix, but after fixing it its been fine since- but it was the tube.



Maybe type into google the make/model and see if there is a manual/troubleshoot section. But it sounds like a tube

I would say it' the picture tube as well.

That's what I determined as well. Ol' Reliable is now on the front porch waiting for the trashmen and a new LCD is working in its place.
