Get an error recording anything from Netflix
 

i bought a blu-ray player to stream nexflix on my tv
hooked it up to my dvd recorder so i can put the stuff on dvd
when i try and record anything from netflix i get this error message
this program can't be recorded
is there a way i can fix this problem

In my experience, I know the newer dvd recorders have a chip or something in them that prevents recording netflix or another dvd from another player that has some form of copy protection. I have a older model standalone dvd recorder and I stream netflix through a Wii console, I do not know which makes the difference but I have never had a issue anything I have backed up that way. So if you have a Wii console give that a shot and hook it into your recorder. The reason why I say it is the console making a difference is I let a friend borrow my dvd recorder to recorder and he has the same error recording my issues you have on my recorder, he was streaming through a xbox 360. Just what works for me.
