Anyone From U.S. Bought a Region-Free Blu-ray from UK?

Do they usually work on a regular U.S. blu-ray player that doesn't specifically have PAL-to-NTSC conversion?

Yes, except the Special Features.

Also be wary of BBC discs. They have released a lot of 1080i/50 discs.
