1-1 Duplicator with USB 3.1 and MP4 files?

I am looking at purchasing a Pioneer 1-1 duplatior that includes a USB 3.1

Anyone know what the benefit of the USB would be?

1. Could I make a DVD off of an MP4 on the USB?
2. Could I transfer a DVD to an MP4 onto the USB?
3. Both?
4. Neither?

I am not techy. And... go 🙂

Duplicators just duplicate. What you're wanting is something that actually converts video, and authors -- or the reverse rip and encode -- and such a beast does not exist. This requires manual computer software use.

So no to both. Neither.

Thank you :)

I am too old to learn new tricks. Hence, the use of a stand-alone duplicator.
