Need Help with Connecting Dvd Recorder to My Spectrum Cable Box

Okay so I've had my last cable box from Time Warner Cable for about fifteen years. A couple of weeks ago I had to get a new one from Spectrum. The DVDR is pretty cool and can record a lot more programs than my old one, but the new cable box is different from the other one I had.

The old cable box on the back had the in from ant and out to tv outputs on the outside. I was able to also connect my DVD Recorder and make a hard copy of things I taped off the DVR or even tape things directly off of tv on disc. The newer Spectrum Box is lighter and sleeker, but only has the in from ant to plug in the coaxial cable from the wall. My question is if I get some kind of converter to connect my DVD recorder to the cable box, would I be able to put the programs recorded off the DVR onto DVD?

Any advice would be appreciated as I've used the same basic set up since the late 80s when I had a VCR connected :)

Figured it out. I have composites going out front and back DVD recorder and through back cable box and backTV plus one HDMI cable that runs through TV and cable box.
