RAdio program to CD??

Can someone point me to instructions on how to record a radio program, convert it tp audio files and then [8D] convert it to a CD?

I think you need one of those USB FM Tuners, my friend has XM Satellite and just pumps it in through the audio in and uses a recording program (there are a ton, some free) and then it records it as wav and then he just puts that to a CD or compresses it into 256k MP3 and makes a MP3 Data disc

But I think you do need some sort of antenna otherwise your option is streaming radio which I think has a lower bitrate

If you can get it on streaming audio (ie: internet radio) there are numerous ripping programs out there. Really simple to burn to cd after that....

I can get the show by streaming audio, but the problem is that in the place of commercials it has goofy music which is a little annoying. I do know that you can record it on to a tape, but I'm not sure how you could convert the tape to a CD. Do you have to get a special machine or an adapter to hook to your computer?

If you want to capture (save) streaming audio/video look for Net Transport.
I use it all the time, works great.
