New 'X-Men' Animated Series Announced
 

Yahoo! Finance has learned that a new animated series based on Marvel Comics' X-Men franchise is currently in pre-production for a Summer 2007 release.

The new show, primarily focused on Wolverine, will utilize 2D and 3D animation. Twenty-six episodes have been confirmed thus far, similar to the upcoming Fantastic Four and Iron Man shows.

If it's primarily focused on Wolverine why not call it "Wolverine" This sounds like it will be based on the crappy X-Men films.
