How to fix DVD with one-speaker audio
I got this in PM, wanted to share:
Quote:
I would do: 1. Rip from IFO to single VOB per title (per episode, for us) with DVD Decrypter. 2. Use BatchDemux to demux them all at once. You'll get an M2V and the AC3. 3. Open each AC3 in Goldwave 5. Right click, go to channel. It highlights the top one. Assuming this one has the track, and not the bottom, do CTRL+A to select all and then CTRL+C to copy. Right click, channel again, it flips to the next one. Hit DELETE. Then hit CTRL+V to paste. You've now replaced the channel. Save as to WAV file. 4. After all WAVs saved, use Besweet (with Besweet GUI) to batch convert from WAV to AC3. 5. Author the M2V+AC3 sources with a good authoring program that supports elementary streams. TMPGEnc DVD Author 1.5 and 3 both do. I prefer to use Ulead DVD Workshop 2. It uses less software, and it does several processes in a batch. It should be faster and a bit less tedious, yes. |
nice :) thanks for the guide

I dont care for Besweet GUI much. I dont want to program the dang thing.
I use Sound forge almost everything. A few things sometimes Elucard Demuxer/ WE all have own methods. Mine is madness LOL I have pro tools I ve yet to tinker with . Sony vegas for a few effects , Ulead video studio 11.5 for video filters not in tmepg plus. Easier than Virtual dub smaller files LOL Encodes as any out put you want. The antishake filter is great . Same purpose as LS Dukes toon setting in vdub. Desnow, Denoise, Deblocking is a handy dandy tool. Plus it runs on 800 mgz just fine lol Mpeg Video Wizard for a other things. Mpeg Vcr & Tv redo suite for editing . Audio - create 2 channel mono. You cant get stero from mono source. convert your mpeg ac3 audio to wave or mp3. Open sound forge copy track 1. Open new track. Besweet GUI is relatively easy to set up. You have to download BESWEET, BESWEET GUI, and then maybe a few of the 3rd-party plugins (AC3ENC.dll, for example). Sorry, but it was a collaborative open-source software, many authors made it work like it does.
I'm not aware of anything else that does batches. Remember part of the original question was on how to save time. |
Sometimes your so easy LOL
Slacking in your old age :P |
