Gupta has long been an expert consult used by CNN and other news orgs. I remember him for at least 6 years now, but he was probably around even further back.

Obama had even considered him for a cabinet posts earlier this year, when he took office.

Anyway, the doc caught the H1N1 "swine" flu! Sort of amusing, in a way.
