I got my new DVD recorder from UPS today. The unit was obviously not new, it was dirty and beat to hell. The motherboard was shattered into bits.
Looks like I still won't get my new unit for a while.  Have to return it for a replacement shipment.

I am researching new units. This one is the Kreisen 530C. It looks to have high potential. But I need a unit with the motherboard in one piece in order to test it out.

Did it have a built in HDD??
I still need to make a final decision on my new DVD recorder and then order it. I just paid for a new warenty on my Panasonic last weds although itll take 4-6 weeks to arrive and then they called me to renew it this tues after the old one expired and I had bought the new lol. So until I get my new one in the mail my recorder is not under warenty Brent

No, I have no need for HDD units. I have about 200 blank RW discs.
