Photoshop - Need Help Lightening Area

righto, i've coloured chuck like so:





you could say he is now charles bronzen (groan!)

anyway, what i would like to know is how to lighten his eye and eybrow areas? just enough to see some of those details.

i've tried color dodge and levels and curves tools - but i don't get the results i want. everything i try seems to change the color whilst lightening those areas.

so anyone here got any ideas?

Have you tried searching for some plugins? LS & Phil are great with skin tones. I never did attempt that area lol
