need a bit of info about what graphic tablet i should get for my hobby.

i've heard of wacom.
but which of their products is good, without having to waste money for top end, pro, stuff?

is there a big difference between a wacom graphire 3 and wacom graphire 4?

is there a big difference between a wacom graphire 4 and a wacom intuos 4?

are there any competitors to wacom?

well, if any of you have experience and info in this area - please pass it on.

Wacom.
Read this: Wacom drawing tablets - Which one should I get?

I don't have anything to add to that.

ta for that.
knew i should have looked at DFaqs first.

ok, what i'll do is try and get a cheeeeeeeeeeap 2nd hand one and test it out.
if i like it, i'll then consider getting a "good" one.

otherwise, no big loss.

i'll also try and actually draw something with my mouse.
see how well i do with that.
