Has anyone noticed a slowdown in packages shipping out of the US?

I sent something to the UK back ~7/25 via airmail, and it has apparently been lost in transit or is still on its way.
In the same amount of time, I've received 2 packages from this same person with no problems....
I'm just hopeful it's not my typical bad luck at play here

Yes. I sent a mere letter 3 weeks ago, and it arrived today.

I sent a package over to the UK about 2 weeks ago and it arrived in 4 days but I send a package to Canada and it takes over 2 weeks. Go figure.

Yeah, well, that's Canada Post. I always assume anything I ship to Canada has to go by way of New Zealand then the Arctic Circle and back before it arrives. :>

I sent Curtis a heavy pack of DVD's and it arrived in under a week, I sent Ahmed something about 1lb more and it has yet to arrive, almost been 1 month. Toren in Canada sent me 7lbs of VHS tapes and it got here in 3 days

Markatisu - my situation is nearly the exact opposite of yours. Ahmed got his single disc fairly quick, while Curtis has yet to receive anything (his was ~30 discs) after nearly a month. Seems that things mailed out of the UK go much faster than mailed in...

they might be screening their incoming mail due to the recent terrorist bombings in London, where small packages aren't as suspicious as the larger ones.
