Audrey Tautou plays the intrepid Amelie, a waitress who makes it her mission to help others find happiness and love, including, unexpectedly, herself! How to Lose a Guy In 10 Days. It’s hard to find a cuter couple than Kate Hudson and Matthew McConaughey. Hudson plays a writer putting together a column on all the things women do wrong in relationships. McConaughey’s her guinea pig. Trouble is, neither one wants to go through with the breakup, no matter how hilariously uncomfortable things get. Best parts: Hudson feminizing McConaughey’s apartment and their musical argument to the tune of “You’re So Vain.”
Fun travel-themed romantic comedies include Only You, where Marisa Tomei travels to Italy to find the prophesied man of her dreams (Robert Downey, Jr.) and French Kiss, where loony Meg Ryan chases after her runaway fiancée to Paris, where she meets a better match instead (Kevin Kline).

This is a movie a man’s man can sit through, even if he can’t bring himself to watch some of the more proverbial “chick flicks.” Tension-filled attraction abounds between Jennifer Lopez, a U.S. Marshall, and George Clooney, the man she’s hunting.
