Lindsay Lohan As Porn Star Linda Lovelace

Lindsay Lohan is making headlines again--only this time it's for an upcoming movie role and not for partying or missing court. Earlier today, TMZ published movie posters of Lohan in character as porn star Linda Lovelace from the upcoming biopic film, 'Inferno.'

Photographer Tyler Shields took the photos for the posters a few days before Lohan attended the Cannes Film Festival.

RadarOnline caught up with Shields who discussed the shoot, "We did the shoot at a low-rent motel in the Valley so that the mood was just right. Lindsay was on fire for that shoot and the results speak for themselves--she was really on her 'A' game. She spent a lot of time researching by watching Lovelace movies and looking at photographs too."
Shields added, "Lindsay was determined to get the poses just right and everybody was delighted with the results --I'm sure when filming starts she will do a great job."

The photos feature Lohan on a bed and posing in her underwear.

This will be Lohan's first return to the big screen since her 2007 box office failure, 'I Know Who Killed Me.'Though she filmed the movie, Labor Pains, co-starring Cheryl Hines in 2008, it went straight to DVD. Lohan is hoping this lead role will help her reclaim her status as a serious actress in Hollywood.

Though other actress's names were being thrown around for the role, including Anna Faris and Courtney Love, director Matthew Wilde ultimately went with Lohan.
