Restoring CPS was a shared battle fought both by myself and AAD.

Seriously, get down on yours hands and knees and say a little thank you prayer to whatever deity you may believe in. For a while there, we thought we'd have to restore CPS from the 5-18-2006 backup, and would have lost a whole month of posts.

I'm actually surprised how smooth everything has gone. Not counting the database restore, everything else has fallen into place pretty quickly. Chat, photo album (file upload), and RSS seem to be working fine.

I'm off to a meeting for a bit.
