I just found out Channel 33 (WB) in Dallas will be the CW. Not sure what Channel 21 (UPN) is going to do. It seems most WB will carry CW. Anywhere that only has UPN will get CW.
Supposedly CW will still carry "KidsWB!" with branding unchanged.
A big problem, however, is WB and CBS (Paramount/UPN owner) will co-own tv shows developed new for CW. That likely means big nasty fights down the road, on releasing shows to DVD, if the networks end up hating each other. We've seen a lot of that between NBC/WB (Smurfs) and FOX/WB (Batman Adam West) and some others.

If they've got any smarts, they'll work out those details up-front. Which, considering the logo for the CW ... I doubt it. I haven't seen anything that bad since the '70s became a memory.

Hmm, my UPN21 (odd because it's the same number) is turning into the CW. What I've heard about the "Kids WB" is that nothing has been really confirmed, but most speculation suggest that it'll stay the same.

My local UPN affiliate will be CW. Don't know what the local WB affiliate will do - it's a Tribune station, so it's tapped into some group buying power for programming. Would love to see it NOT become a MyNetwork station, as nothing on that network appeals to me. This station used to be a great source of varied syndicated programming, so I'm hoping they'll go back in that direction. As a matter of fact, some of the Marine Boy recordings out there are actually from the films from this station - it was very nostalgic indeed the first time I acquired any, and the station logos I grew up with were still intact. :>

In Hawaii it looks like I'm not getting CW in the fall as the WB affiliate will be the MyNetwork stuff and the UPN affiliate is mainly a multicultural channel which is rumored not to pick up CW. That will suck if they don't pick it up.

Our UPN shared its network with NBC so we only got a select few UPN programs after midnight on Sat and Sun. Our WB is changing to the CW.
